CANVAS# HPJ-2017-05: 12 June 2016
Hello there! Gad. I'm hungry. I have a couple of stuff more to post. [Sigh]. Here is the most recent canvas I worked on. I finished it two weekends ago.
Basically, I used the same techniques that I use on my art journal spreads. I don't think I will ever tire of them. I have new projects in mind that would use the same techniques. Hehe. This is it for now. I'll just take a break and grab something to eat then I'll finish my last art journal spread before working on three other cards. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you check my other projects. Have a great week!
MATERIALS AND TOOLS USED: Conda Canvas 9" x 12", Pebeo White Gesso, Golden Light Molding Paste, The Crafter's Workshop Stencil Mini Cut Circles, Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black, Heidi Swapp Mixed Media Clear Stamps Script, Prima Marketing Clear Stamps Vintage Vanity, Kaisercraft Clear Stamps Journal and Boutique, Ranger Liquid Pearls Petal Pink, Flamingo and Baby Blue, Ranger Distress Inks Mini Dusty Concord, Ranger Distress Stains Broken China and Tumbled Glass, Mod Podge Matte, micro pearls, printed photo, chipboard, board paper, paper flowers, beads, wire, eyelets, WRMK Eyelet Setter, Stanley Glue Gun
I used one of our pictures from our Bolinao trip as the focal point.

CANVAS# HPJ-2017-04: Let Go
Hi! Here is another triptych. This is a gift for a friend's birthday. I started this project in the early part of March, but I could not finish it because I could not find a bulldog clip anywhere. Seriously. When I need something, I cannot find it at the stores, but if I no longer need it, they seem to stock a lot of them in the stores. Ugh.
I found the silver-colored ones at the supermarket. Though I only needed one, I hoarded a couple of them in different sizes so when I need them for another project I don't have to look outside my stash.
By the way, this set is bigger than the first triptych I made. The canvases on both ends measure 9" x 12" while the middle one measures 12" x 16".
I believe I have mentioned in a previous post that I never learned from my mistake splattering the inks first before adding the micro pearls. Tsk. Parts of the project are smudged because of this. Oh well. I can't undo it. I don't like the outcome overall. [Sigh]. I don't think the recipient will like it that much either. There's no turning back now. Though it's not one of my better works, it will have to do. TT.TT

CARD#s HPJ-2017-07 to 20
Hi again! This time, I am going to show you the cards I made for our colleagues in the US.
I so love how they turned out. I'll definitely make some more similar cards in the future. They look awesome!

So, what do you think? Aren't they gorgeous? I'm sure I will be making more of the same type in the future. They're fun and easy to make, but of course it takes more time to finish them because of all the needed drying. That was that. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you check out my other projects. Happy Thursday!
MATERIALS AND TOOLS USED: Bevania Splendorgel Board Paper White, Elit Board Paper Vellum White, Rives Board Paper Tradition Black, Pebeo White Gesso, Golden Light Molding Paste, The Crafter's Workshop Stencils Mini Chickenwire Reversed, Mini Cut Circles, Mini Art Is and Mini Tile Texture, Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black, Kaisercraft Clear Stamps Boho Dreams, Victoria, Provincial, Boutique, Journal and Perfume, Bo Bunny Clear Stamps You're Invited, Stitches and Dreamer, Prima Marketing Clear Stamps Vintage Vanity, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Bahama Blue, Scarlet, Jack O'Lantern and Butternut Squash, Ranger Distress Stains Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Broken China and Tumbled Glass, Uni Ball Signo Broad Pen White

Each card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

So, how did I make them? The same way as my canvases and art journal spreads. Heh. I coated the cards (slightly smaller than the front of the base) with gesso then stenciled with light molding paste. After drying, I stamped the images and texts. I then splattered inks onto each one.

For the sentiment, I inked the clear stamps using my white pigment ink pen and stamped on pieces of black board paper. I adhered them onto the front of the cards.
