Hi! I know. I have neglected my blog again for over a month. I am here to show you what I missed to show you last month. Sorry. I've been busy catching up with my social life (which is close to being non-existent). Hah.
I have several projects that I haven't uploaded yet. You will see them in my next posts. There were four cards and a mini that I was not able to document because I was in a hurry when I made them. I think I still have some snaps from the person I gave them to so you would still have an idea what they looked like though I would not be able to show you more details of the projects.
Anyway, for last March, I had a couple of purchases and some free stuff from a friend which were added to my horde of supplies.
The first batch is from National Book Store. I was only supposed to buy some pens for a friend, but while passing by one corner of the store, I saw these boxes of rubber stamps. When I went nearer to survey them, I saw some more awesome stuff. Gad. There were tags, ink pads, acrylic blocks, clear stamps, die cuts, stickers, paper pads and what-not which made me cooing in delight. If I didn't remember that I was at a store with other people around I might have screamed a series of Oh my gods and mumbled a lot about the new found treasures which would be transmitted to non-crafty people as incoherent and senseless. Okay. So I managed to calm myself while rummaging through the boxes on the shelves. I was with another friend at that time and asked for 10-15 minutes to go over all the cool stuff before hitting the counter. I am a total spendthrift when I see craft supplies in local stores whose price isn't that much compared to the ones online. I am so glad NBS is offering more and more scrapbooking products which I could use on my projects. Hooray for that! So here they are.
Tsk. I should have also bought the butterfly wood veneers. I hope they still have them.
The next set of supplies is a purchase from one of my favorite craft stores, Bee Happy Crafts. I noticed that the prices on the usual product categories that I buy went up, but I still think that they offer the best deals when it comes to crafting products here in the country. That being said, I was able to get the following:
Nellie's Choice Multi Frame Dies Straight Tags, Ranger Embossing Powder Frosted Crystal, Ranger Distress Ink Black Soot
And I bought a 1 1/2" scallop circle punch for Robert's girlfriend.
Last but not the least is a load of beads and other random supplies in making accessories from Ate Jen. She's been wanting to give them to me two years ago, but something always comes up when we try to meet up. Finally, last March, I was able to visit her at her father's house in Makati with Ate Jolly and get the long-promised beads. Like I have mentioned, I have been busy so I did not have much time to sort the beads out. When I pulled them out from the old organizers that went with the bunch, I was stunned to see so many beads in different colors and there were other items too. I have started to transfer some of them to my remaining organizers, but I need to get more since I want to group them by color and by shade. I don't think I will have to arrange them by size as well since I could still pick out the size I want from the same color and shade. I hope I am making sense. I'll add the photos when I am done organizing them.
Here are the beads.
